Selected Installer
Real Goods was founded in 1978 by John Schaeffer based on the desire to provide a comprehensive product suite for the independent, off-the-grid market, sold at fair prices. 1978 was also the year that Real Goods Solar sold the first solar panel in the US. As a collective entity, Real Goods has installed over 4500 system installations in the residential and small commercial space (projects <100kW).
The Equipment
Panels – Real Goods is offering high end Sharp 216 solar panels for the Sonoma County 1BOG campaign. Click here for the panel spec sheet. Sharp is offering an extra discount for 1BOG members! Click here for more info on our ability to get group discounts from the manufacturer.
Monitoring – Installations will include, at no cost to 1BOG members, a proprietary production monitoring solution called PVWatch which tracks your energy production. PVWatch includes an online account, iPhone App, as well as daily emails and/or text alerts to the customer.
